The Best Tacos In Town Are In A Gas Station
Central Illinois
I am aware of how this sounds. Go anyway.
There is a small counter in the back corner of a gas station, past the beef jerky, and it is putting out better al pastor than most sit-down places within an hour of here.
The tortillas are pressed to order. The salsa comes in a squeeze bottle that has clearly seen things.
Bring cash. Bring napkins. Do not bring anyone who is going to make a face about the parking lot.
Want to see what I do next?
Probably food. Maybe a building. Possibly something stupid.
